Our scaffolding

Aluminium,
part by part

A scaffold is not made of a single metal. Here is what is aluminium, what is galvanised steel, and why.

The reasoning

Why
aluminium

A steel scaffold deck takes 2 people to carry. The same deck in aluminium is carried by one. On a house, that single difference turns a full day of assembly into a morning.

  • Light — less fatigue, fewer people needed on site.
  • No rust — aluminium does not rust. You can store it outside between 2 jobs. Guaranteed 10 years.
  • Easy to transport — a van or a trailer is often enough, where steel would need a truck.
  • Worth it — buying costs the price of 2 rentals. After that, the scaffold is yours. And aluminium keeps its value: it resells well.

Composition

What is aluminium,
what is steel

Saying "all aluminium" would sell better, but it would be false. The parts that carry the most weight are galvanised steel. It is a technical choice, not a saving.

Aluminium

Aluminium decks

The platforms you walk and work on. Non-slip surface. Some have a hatch and a ladder to move from one level to the next.

Aluminium

Vertical frames

The frames that keep the scaffold standing. They fit together without tools. It is the part you carry most: in aluminium, you feel the difference right away.

Galvanised steel

Diagonal braces

The bars placed diagonally that stop the scaffold from moving. As they carry a lot of weight, steel is the right choice here.

Galvanised steel

Adjustable base jacks and base plates

The adjustable feet that let you set the scaffold straight, even on sloping ground, and the plates that spread the weight on the ground.

Mixed

Guardrails and toe boards

Fall protection: one bar at the top, another in the middle, and a board at foot level so nothing falls.

Galvanised steel

Couplers and fittings

The clamping parts for special cases: corners, irregular walls and tying the scaffold to the wall.

The price

Cheaper,
not cheap

We sell direct, with no shop or dealer between us and you. That is what lets us be cheaper without touching quality. The cheapest option: a pack, ready to go, at a fixed price. Made to measure costs a little more.
